TEPPAZ OCTAVE
Magnificent record player from the Teppaz brand, Octave model with a tube amplifier with an EL84 and an EF86 delivering a power of 4 watts. Excellent musical quality thanks to its 2 170mm speakers mounted in the cover of the device and forming a baffle. It is equipped with an effective tone corrector with separate adjustment for bass and treble. Possibility of connecting a 2nd speaker to it via the "additional speaker" socket with a value of 4 ohms, (not a connected type speaker!)
It has just been completely overhauled both electronically, mechanically and aesthetically. Its orange leather-style case is in a beautiful state of preservation with its closures without major oxidation. Its platter mat is new of current manufacture, the ventilation grid has been redone with new flocking , it has its platter clip as well as the Teppaz stamped disc. It will be supplied with its speaker support / winder in perfect condition.
On the mechanical side, its drive roller is in good condition, its automatic stop at the end of the record has been precisely adjusted, the reading head is refurbished with its two sapphires, one for reading 33 and 45 rpm records and the other for reading 78 rpm records.
A new model of power transformer has been installed to give it excellent reliability.
Very stylish sixties device, perfect for re-listening to records from the 60s like Johnny, Sylvie, Sheila, Elvis, the Beatles etc… with remarkable sound quality.
Following its revision, this record player is capable of playing recent pressings, maxi 45 rpm records without skipping grooves.
It will be delivered with a copy of its instructions as well as a 45 rpm centering device.
