German-made radio from Schaub Lorenz, Touring T40 automatic model dating from 1964. Made in Germany
It offers 4 wavebands, 3 in AM (KW (shortwave) MW (smallwave) LW (longwave) and FM. Note that for the AM frequencies, that is to say GO, Po and OC, the stations stop one after the other.
The screen can be backlit momentarily, for example in the evening so that the dial can be clearly seen; dial illumination by pressing a button located with the other controls.
Bass and treble controls (Diskant), the volume control also serves as an on/off switch. 2.5mm jack plug for connecting headphones.
Battery operated, it uses 5 LR20 type batteries (not supplied)
Aesthetically, it is in very acceptable condition, gray plastic case with chrome HP grille, carrying handle with leather covering, it has its two telescopic antennas in good condition. On the bottom, it has a crack (reinforced so that it does not get worse (visible in the photos).
