Philips AG2104E record player from 1954, manufactured in Holland. This type of turntable, which connected to a PU (pickup) input on a tube radio, has become somewhat obsolete.
Thanks to new technologies, this small record player can now be put back into service!
It has been adapted for Bluetooth playback and can easily connect to any speaker or device equipped with Bluetooth technology. No more trailing wires for connections to an amplifier! Only one power cord to an electrical outlet.
Good quality musical reproduction with the pleasure of listening to your records, even recent ones, on a turntable with a more than "vintage" and period look. After its restoration, this turntable plays all old records, 80s records, maxi 45s, today's pressings without skipping, and even 78s!
Despite all this, it can still function as it did originally, via the audio cable to a pick-up or auxiliary input. This cable, supplied with the record player, is equipped with banana plugs.

Aesthetically, this record player is in very good condition, with its original felt platter mat. The metal fittings have been cleaned to restore some of their shine. Its original cartridge was defective, as is often the case, and a new GP230 type cartridge has been installed. It is equipped with a reversible stylus featuring two tips for playing 33 and 45 rpm vinyl records. For playing 78 rpm records, you will need to purchase the AG3306/78 type stylus separately, available on the website.
Its case is in a very well-preserved condition. The front clasp has a lock and its key is present.
Mechanically, it's a 3-speed turntable: 33, 45, and 78 rpm. Its idler wheel is in very good condition. At the base of the tonearm is a slider for adjusting the auto-stop trigger at the end of the record, for either 17cm or 30cm records.
This record player will be delivered with a 45rpm adapter, a copy of the instruction manual for using the record player, and an explanatory note for its Bluetooth operation.
