Replacement roller for Philips, Radiola and some Schneider record players

DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY INFORMATION: Start by putting the speed selector on the 78 rpm position or 45 rpm if the record player does not have the 78 rpm so that the roller is in the lowest position. This avoids forcing the roller when reassembling. You will need to remove the locking washer using a thin knife blade by pulling slightly upwards to remove this washer, do not lose it because it is not supplied with the new roller. Remove the old roller, clean the axle and possibly put a drop of very fluid oil (like sewing machine oil), put the new roller in place and replace the washer by replacing it in its groove, trying not to press excessively to reattach it, help yourself either with the knife blade or a small screwdriver. Do not handle the roller by taking it by the rubber band.
