This record player was one of the successes of the famous company Teppaz and more than 500,000 units were manufactured. This one dates from 1960, the last version of this Présence model with tangential speed change.
It has been completely overhauled both electronically and mechanically. The tube amplifier, equipped with an EL84 and an EBF80, has been refurbished, and the tubes have been tested. This amplifier delivers 3 watts of very good musical quality thanks to its 160mm speaker. The cartridge has also been redone and has its two styli, 33/45 rpm on one side and 78 rpm on the other. 4-speed turntable: 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm.
The drive roller is in very good condition, the original red platter mat is in excellent condition. The arm has its pad and the platter clips are present. The power cable is equipped with the overmolded plug with the Teppaz logo.
As for the case, it is peccary-colored and in good condition; the metal fittings have been cleaned to restore their beautiful appearance.
It is ready to let you listen to your vinyls of Cloclo, Johnny, Sheila, The Beatles, Rolling Stones or others again... It will also be perfect for re-listening to your 78 rpm records, which will be less damaged than listening to them with a phonograph with steel needles, and the sound quality will be much better. Moreover, following its overhaul, it is capable of playing recent records without skipping.
