Magnificent record player from the Teppaz brand, Octave model with a tube amplifier with an EL84 and an EF86 delivering a power of 4 watts. Excellent musical quality thanks to its 2 170mm speakers mounted in the cover of the device and forming a baffle. It is equipped with an effective tone corrector with separate adjustment for bass and treble. Possibility of connecting a 2nd speaker via the "additional speaker" socket with a value of 4 ohms,(not a connected type speaker!)
It has just been completely overhauled both electronically, mechanically and aesthetically. Its mottled and blue case is in good condition with its closures without major oxidation, they have been cleaned to give them a nice appearance. Its tray mat is in good condition, its ventilation grille has received a new flocking like the original one , it has its tray clip as well as the Teppaz stamped disc. It will be supplied with its speaker support / winder.
On the mechanical side, its drive roller is new, originally from Teppaz, its automatic stop at the end of the record has been precisely adjusted, the reading head is refurbished with its two sapphires, one for reading 33 and 45 rpm records and the other for reading 78 rpm records.
A new model of power transformer has been installed to give it excellent reliability.

Following its revision, this record player is capable of playing recent pressings, 45 rpm maxi records without skipping grooves.
It will be delivered with a copy of its instructions as well as a 45 rpm centering device.
