"Basic" record player dating from 1958 from Radiola, manufactured by Philips
Tube amplifier equipped with the current tubes for this period UCL82 and UY85. The start-up and volume adjustment are done by a rotary potentiometer. The 12cm speaker is integrated into the device, giving nevertheless a good musical quality.
4-speed turntable 16/33/45 and 78 rpm. For its operation, there is no switch for the motor, so the platter does not stop at the end of the record. As soon as the device is switched on, the motor turns, the start of the rotation of the platter or the stop is selected by the speed selector which has a "0" position.
It is equipped with the 22GP316 type cell in perfect working order with its two sapphires ( M )16/33/45 and ( N )78 rpm
Operation on 110 or 220/240v (selection by switch located under the tabletop; set to 220/240v.
Presented in a tweed and blue suitcase with its brass fittings in good condition.
