Voted the youth's favorite record player upon its release, this Oscar model was one of Teppaz's best sellers, a 1959 model.
Its light grey pony skin-style case is in good condition, with some wear on the case's decoration (visible in the photos). The metal fittings have been replaced with new ones to give it the best presentation. Ivory-colored turntable with the brand's first logo installed on the Oscar model.
For the technical part, its tube amplifier equipped with a UCL82 delivers a power of 3 watts and the rectification is done by a UY85 tube.
Equipped with an effective tone control. Its restored cartridge has its 2 styli, one for 33/45 rpm on one side and one for 78 rpm on the other.
Its platter mat is in good condition, and its ventilation grille has new flocking, redone as original. The platter clip is present, as is the Teppaz disc on the arm. The drive wheel is new, original Teppaz.
This record player, following its overhaul, is capable of playing recently pressed records and 45 rpm maxis without skipping.
It comes with a copy of its user manual and a plastic 45 rpm adapter.
