Line recorderMAJORfrom Teppaz, Oscar Major model, 1965 version. Its teak-colored suitcase is in beautiful condition with its closures and fittings still very shiny without oxidation.
It is equipped with a tube amplifier (ECL82) delivering a power of 3 watts, 2 potentiometers, one for adjusting the power and also acting as an on / off switch and the other for adjusting the tone. 160mm speaker of the reverse type incorporated in the cover. 4-speed record player 16/33/45 and 78 rpm. Its reversible Eco type cell allows the reading of microgroove records with a 16/33/45 rpm sapphire on one side and a 78 rpm sapphire on the other side. This cell is new of current manufacture.
This record player is capable of playing recent records as well as 45 rpm maxis without skipping grooves.
It has its platter clip as well as the Teppaz stamped disc on the arm. The original platter mat is in very good condition.
It is equipped with a 5-pin DIN type socket to connect a tape recorder for example.
Comes with a color copy of its instructions and a 45 rpm centering device
