Very nice Hi-Fi amplifier from Akai "made in Japan", model AM2400 manufactured between 1976 and 1979.
It is offered in its wooden cabinet and aluminum front version in good condition, with a few minor flaws on the top cover but nothing serious (visible in photos). First-hand device, fully serviced.
Power of 2x 40 Watts into 8 ohms. Required impedance for this device is 4 to 16 ohms depending on the number of speakers connected to it.
Possibility to connect 2 pairs of A/B speakers. Stereo headphone jack via 6.35 jack plug and front selection switch.
3 Inputs: Phono, Tuner and Auxiliary. 2 Inputs for cassette or tape decks Tape1 and Tape2 with switch to select playback or copy from one to the other (1 to 2 and 2 to 1).
Switch for Loudness, mono/stereo, the different filters.
Connections for different devices are made via Cinch (RCA) plugs and Tape 1 also offers a 5-pin DIN plug. Speakers are connected via spring terminals.

During its overhaul, among other things, the electrolytic capacitors were replaced, ensuring good reliability and musicality.
